The Tarot works, in part, according to the Law Of Attraction… Like energies attract Like energies. So, for instance, if you are in a crummy mood, this is not the time to pick up the cards and try a reading because the cards will directly reflect that crummy mood. Likewise, in a reading for the self, the cards will reflect what you most dearly want to hear.

So, it is the task of the reader to clear their own energy and that of the cards, and meditate if need be, to become neutral before any reading. The reader has a divine responsibility, as they are the middle-man between the Querant and the advising Angels and Spirit Guides.

The cards are usually made of paper and ink so they have no life or power on their own, but they are imprinted with esoteric knowledge… images, colors, symbols, numerology and astrology, so it is then up to the reader to make an interpretation of these, with the help of their own Spirit Guides… I believe this is where the Intuition comes into play. In the hands of an experienced Tarot reader the cards can be used to create a divinely guided story board made of deep insights and messages of truth.
